IMAGEMAKERS, INC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to help the project management team, guide the customer experience and ‘own’ the project development lifecycle for their projects.

 

As the Technical Project Manager, you will work to fulfill the project direction established by the Experience Director (XD) team, as well as promote continuous improvement in our Agile environment. This role is for a seasoned project manager to help drive best practices. You will define the detailed requirements for each project and feature. You will also work closely with production teams on the specifications to ensure your team has all the information they need to deliver a complete project. This position acts as a member of the production team interacting with outside parties to learn the production priorities and allow the production team to keep producing. Will also participate in administration and troubleshooting of solutions, systems, and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Acts as the project subject matter expert for the production team.
  • Understand/Track project budget, scope, and timeline and work to maintain a balance.
  • Define scope and translate project strategy and vision into detailed requirements.
  • Communicate back to clients and development team both issues and opportunities, and assists in developing and improving procedures, standards of best practices.
  • Be aware of customer commitments and communicate timelines internally to assist with managing those commitments while managing expectations.
  • Works with UX on design UI/UX details.
  • Drives iteration priorities via prioritized stories.
  • Follows the Development Life Cycle of the project as defined.
  • Tracks billable percentage of team members and brings up issues.
  • Tracks project impediments and progress to solving them.

Requirements

  • 3-years of Relevant Experience or Proven Learning Track
  • Proficient knowledge of the software build, configuration and release process supporting the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)
  • Extensive knowledge of programming and systems analysis procedures.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Must have strong communication skills in order to represent the group in meetings with senior leadership.
  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, problem resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills and project management skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, identify, analyze and resolve issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs.
  • Certification a Plus (A-CSPO, A-CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP)
