Imagemakers is an award-winning graphic design and advertising agency (view recent work here) that develops communication and marketing projects that deliver results for our customers.  Projects include marketing and planning, web site development, direct mail, advertisements, print materials, signs, billboards, logo development, PR, and more.  We are hiring because of the growing demand for our services.

This position is full time, permanent.
Starting pay: $12 - $19 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design communication materials that deliver results:
• brochures
• ads
• signs
• point of purchase
• direct mail
• web sites
2. Contribute to idea sessions with designers, developers and copywriters
3. Photo editing and enhancement / photo illustrations
4. Build files based on specifications (color correct and prep for printing)
5. Help maintain the Imagemakers archive
6. Assist with project/marketing planning and strategy
7. Help develop and plan content
8. Review results of projects
9. Assist with scheduling, and make sure projects are delivered on time
10. Keep up to date with marketing and design trends
11. This job will be customized to meet the experience, ability and traits of the individual hired for this unique position.
    

Working Conditions:

Imagemakers is a small company, allowing team members to have a big impact – to really make a difference.  Hours are flexible, with most occurring between 9am and 6pm.  You will work closely with developers, our content developer and creative director, clients and vendors.  You will work with a wide range of industries: from tourism and entertainment, to healthcare, manufacturing, wineries and even waste disposal.  The environment is never boring with a lot of group interaction, big picture thinking, and many, many different types of projects.  Our offices are located in a recently renovated late-1800s building in downtown Wamego.

We are a small company and all perform many jobs.  Other activities may include:

• Lead, guide, develop projects.
• Assist with estimating new projects.
• Help define and enforce standards to ensure consistent communication and branding for customers.
• Track results of web sites and other completed projects. Make recommendations for improvement.
• Understand the project cycle and take ideas from concept through production and results tracking.
• Help manage vendor and freelance relationships to assure quality of deliverables, timeliness of deliveries.
• Some photography work.
• Help define specifications for projects.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
