.NET Developer

Wamego-based advertising agency is hiring an expert in the dynamic programming tools and languages that fuel the web.

You will be part of an award-winning team that builds and integrates interactive websites, applications, and services for both internal and public sites. Your role is to build data-driven applications and find efficient client-server solutions.

 


Working Conditions:

Position is flexible and the right candidate will have the opportunity to work as:

  • Freelance
  • Contract
  • Part-time Employee
  • Full-time Employee

Freelance, contract and part-time will work be up to approximately 20-30 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Produce:
    • Build website backend
    • MS SQL database programming
    • Work with CSS/HTML and Javascript developers
    • Work with project manager
    • Make sure projects are delivered on time
    • Keep up to date with web development and online communication trends, and evaluate new technology
  • This job will be customized to meet the experience, ability and traits of the individual hired for this unique position

General Skills:

  • Be proficient in C# or VB .NET
  • Understand general database concepts
  • Understand the architecture of clients, servers, and Internet systems
  • Create and monitor web applications for clients and servers
  • Design and deliver web services
  • Code, test, and support database-driven web applications
  • Be proficient in HTML and XML
  • Understand object-oriented programming
  • Be proficient in using .NET for database access
  • Security aspects, such as forms authentication and membership and roles
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of Web applications
  • Extend existing ASP.NET applications

About the Company

Imagemakers is a small company, allowing team members to have a big impact – to really make a difference.  Hours are flexible, with most occurring between 9am and 6pm. You will work closely with designers, developers, the project manager and creative director, clients and vendors.  You will work with a wide range of industries: from tourism and entertainment, to healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. The environment is never boring with a lot of group interaction, big picture thinking, and many, many different types of projects.  Our offices are located in a recently renovated late-1800s building in downtown Wamego.
